Episode 2: Interview with Elicia Banks-Gabriel

Today, we catch up with Elicia Banks-Gabriel. For over 12 years, Elicia has been a creator of joy! She started her career creating joy at agencies like Anomaly in account and digital strategy roles for clients like Capital One, Coca-Cola, Campbell’s Soup, Converse, Lexus, New York Cosmos, Sephora, Vimeo and more.

Then, she shifted to creating joy for employees at global holding companies like Havas and Publicis. Responsible for the full employee experience, she created a partnership with micro-learning platform Grovo to support new managers, led an inter-agency mobility program sending employees to a new city in the world for a month, and shifted a globally distributed agency to an Objectives & Key Results (OKR) framework to quantify their efforts and drive cross-team collaboration. She’s thrown some pretty fun parties along the way too.

Now, Elicia’s on a mission to create joy for One & All as their VP of Talent and Culture. She’s a go-giver, obsessive learner, listener and absorber of all things people and culture, based in Highland Park, Los Angeles.
